Arusha National Park is a game reserve and one of the best safari parks with lot of opportunities for game viewing. It has a rich wildlife, diverse topography and different habitats. The park is perfect for day safaris, as it is close to Arusha and Moshi. It is a small park (552 square km) in northern Tanzania, lies close to Arusha, a famous safari town, and Kilimanjaro International Airport.

DAY 1 ARUSHA Town – ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

Depart from Arusha town at 9 AM and drive to Arusha National Park. You will enjoy a half-day guided walking safari through the forest to the waterfall and thenatural beauty of the hills, mountains and river beds begging to be explored.Expect to see endles Hide content. Depart from Arusha town at 8 AM and drive to NgorongoroArea Ngorongoro is the 8th natural wonder of the world and the unique, world famous caldera with the most abundant wildlife.Area The caldera is exhibiting more than 120 species of mammals. We will also visit saline lakes such as lake Magadi, which is a magnet for flamingos and other water birds. We will see pools full of hippos, the endangered East Africa’s last black rhinos including birds such as secretary bird, white stork arriving from Europe during the wet season, kori bustards, crowned cranes and ostriches. It is for sure a landscape of sheer beauty. Day Tour Safari to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park – one of Africa’s little-known gems – should be on the itinerary of all wilderness lovers. The wildlife of Tarangire National Park is as diverse as its landscape, because the park contains almost every animal species you can see on a safari, except of rhinoceros. The park is known for its large elephant herds, which are among the largest in Tanzania or perhaps in whole Africa. DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Depart from Arusha at 9 am and drive to Tarangire National Park.

We will begin the game viewing at the richest vista of an endless golden savanna. You will see the Tarangire River with Baobab trees all along the river-banks. This is a well established view point, where game can be viewed ambling to and from the river throughout the day. Thousands of animals migrate from Maasai steppe to Tarangire River looking for water. You might be able to see three rare species of animals; the Greater Kadu, the Fringe-eared Oryx as well as a few Ashy Starlings. Picnic lunches will be set on some of the picnic sites in the proximity of wildlife. Late afternoon we will drive you back to Arusha.

Day Tour Safari to Lake Mayara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is unspoiled paradise with ground water forest, laced with underground springs and teeming with wildlife such as elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, the largest baboon troops in Africa and some of the antelopes. Lake Manyara is a salt lake with thousands of flamingos. It is full of outstanding birding places with more than 400 species on display and butterflies. You can also see pelicans, storks, kingfishers and many other birds. It is also a famous jungle, where early Tanzanian movies were filmed.

DAY 1 ARUSHA – LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Depart from Arusha at 9 am. We will drive for about two hours, passing through the agricultural and fresh product market town of Mto Wa Mbu, situated next to the entrance of the Lake Manyara National Park. The town is a souvenir hunters paradise. We will enter Lake Manyara National Park, a photographers heaven for game viewing. Expect to see unspoiled paradise with ground water forest, laced with underground springs and teeming with wildlife such as elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, the largest baboon troops in Africa and some of the antelopes. It is outstanding birding places with over 400 species on display and butterflies. It is famous for the tree climbing lions, luckily seen resting on acacia trees. From your vehicles, you will have a marvelous view of the Rift Valley escarpment, sparkling in the sun; Lake Manyara is a salt lake with thousands of flamingoes. You can also see pelicans, storks, kingfishers and many other birds. Late afternoon we will drive back to Arusha.
