Mahale Chimpanzee Tracking 4-Day Tour
Chimpanzee tracking in the Mahale Mountains in western Tanzania. This trip only starts on MONDAYS and THURSDAYS.
Day 1: Arusha/Dar es salaam – Mahale Mountain National Park
Start your safari to Mahale early in the morning. Upon arrival to Mahale Mountain National Park from either Arusha or Dar es Salaam you will be picked up and transferred to the Lodge by boat, enjoy your hot lunch at the Lodge. After getting your lunch later in the afternoon, start a short Chimpanzee Tracking in the forest. Return at the lodge for dinner and bonfire and then for an overnight at Kungwe Beach Lodge.
Day 2: Mahale – Boat Safaris
Early in the morning take your breakfast at the Lodge start Chimpanzee Tracking in the forest followed by hot Lunch at the Lodge. After getting your lunch start a Boat Safari for Bird Watching and Game Viewing. This one is spectaculars tour – make sure your camera is with you. Return at the lodge for dinner and bonfire and later for overnight at Kungwe Beach Lodge

Day 3: Mahale – Fishing on Lake Tanganyika (Fantastic Endeavour)
After taking your breakfast at the Lodge start a Chimpanzee Tracking in the forest and later go for hot Lunch at the lodge. After lunch engage yourself in fishing activities on the Lake – one you can’t dare to refuse. Go back for dinner and bonfire at the Lodge and then overnight at Kungwe Beach Lodge.

Day 4: Mahale Mountain National Park – Arusha
Get up a little bit early take your breakfast at the Lodge. Today is different! Get relaxed on the beach. Enjoy natural cooling of the lake while playing with the sand as well as reading your novels. Later transfer to the Airstrip by boat with lunch boxes. Around 13:15hrs board shared Charter to Arusha or Dar es salaam. Arrive Arusha/Dar es salaam and transfer to your lodge/hotel.
